Following a successful run in November at the Players' home base
in Fairlight, "Goodnight Mrs. Puffin" was taken to the De La Warr
Pavilion as a part of a Three Act Play Festival. The presence of an
adjudicator suggests that performances were judged, but I have no
information, at this stage, as to the outcome of judging.
I note that the Players were "up against" the BATS (Bexhill
Amateur Dramatic Society) who entered two plays to the Festival, and
who are still alive and kicking in 2010. Whether the other two
entrants are still active I know not - perhaps somebody will be able
to enlighten me. |
